Gran Paradiso Hotel Spa - San Giovanni Rotondo

Overall great and pretty hotel, delicious meals.

Fairly clean hotel, very good team members with the waiters in the restaurant.

We did like the breakfast. Many different kind of food and drink.

Wished they had open buffet for lunch and supper.

Was not happy with this hotel. The staff do not speak english and therefore find it very dificult to communicate. there was one member of reception who spoke limited english which was helpful. The room was not very clean and the airconditioning could not be manually controlled. There are shutters on the windows rather than heavy drawn curtains which are only hanging fro decorative purposes and the shutter on our window was broken meaning we only had a voille type curtain on the window for the night leaving limited privacy and a very bright start to the day. The balcony had one chair despite the fact that it was a double room.

We booked a classic queen room, it was huge and well-appointed:)))

Good location close the the Church of father Pio.

Could have shuttle between bus stop for busses arriving from Foggia to the Hotel. Taxi was expensive for the short distance.

Location was good. It's a good breakfast. There is a pool. To the center of the town 7 minutes on foot.

small room. No hooks in the bathroom. It'll be fine for 1-2 nights.

I loved the fabulous massages at the spa! The room was nice but a bit smaller than expected. A tip, there was no use of the indoor pool unless you paid extra, a bummer 😔

Location is close to the Basilica of San Pio. Good food and good service in the dining room.

Relaxing place overall, it is impeccably clean, location is perfect to the religious areas of San Giovanni. The breakfast is generous and delicious, includes a great selection of meals. Offers VERY GOOD service and amazing food. The pool area is clean.

it was clean spacious and service was good.the gardens were beautiful and the hotel was so central.a delightful place to stay.

I cannot say that there was anything I didn't like but a little more information in English would be helpful for English speaking visitors. I got by as I have a little Italian.

The hotel is of a high standard but I would not consider it 4 star. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly but their English was poor.

Everything was perfect, except I had to leave the restaurant twice as another customer kept bringing a dog into it, I told the hotel reception in the morning of my discomfort but the dog was in again for dinner. The restaurant had buffet service ,so this lady was touching her dog then touching all cutelry on the buffet,not good.lovely hotel better no animal policy.

The staff went out of their way to help us, especially with accessibility needs. Our room was spacious, with a cozy corner with an armchair perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the spa treatments were rejuvenating.

Some areas could use updating.

Excellent stay. We were making a pilgrimage visit to the P. Pio sanctuary.

Everything was very good.
